Būtība is Latvia’s conscious summer solstice festival — 4 days of music, rituals, yoga, tantra, and community in the forests on the banks of the Daugava river. Join us June 21–24, 2026.

Būtība is not just a festival. It is a living spirit — a presence summoned each year with humility and gratitude during the sacred days of the summer solstice.

Now in its 11th edition, Būtība Festival takes place June 21–24, 2026 at Ķeguma Puduri, nestled in the magical Latvian countryside on the banks of the Daugava — Latvia’s largest and most sacred river. Surrounded by ancient woodland, this is one of the most beautiful natural settings in all of the Baltic states.

A Sacred Space for the Whole Family

Būtība is a family-friendly, alcohol-free festival rooted in conscious living. The festival kitchen serves wholesome vegetarian food, and the entire space is designed to support presence, connection, and inner growth. Children up to 16 years old enter free when accompanied by a parent.

What Happens at Būtība?

Every edition of Būtība is a journey through the many dimensions of human experience:

  • Rituals & Ceremonies to honor the summer solstice and connect with the ancestors
  • Concerts & Dance Parties featuring international and local artists
  • Shamanic Journeys, Yoga, Tantra & Meditation to deepen presence and self-inquiry
  • Children’s Program (Ages 5–12) — a dedicated journey for the younger guardians to explore their own spirit

The Spirit We Grow With

The name Būtība means essence or being in Latvian — a reflection of the festival’s core invitation: to reconnect with Mother Earth, the ancestors, and your deepest truth. Every person who enters the circle becomes a guardian of that spirit.

Whether you are drawn by the music, the ceremonies, the community, or simply the longing for something real — Būtība is a place where you remember what you already carry within.
