Ambient ethnomusic band RĀMI RITI. The creative activity of the group “Rāmi Riti” began in 2014, when musicians from various musical projects united by a common thread – a love for folk songs. Each string of songs, which is highlighted in the sunshine, sung, played together, is nurtured through the hearts, feelings, moods of the musicians and the musical expression of each group member. “Rāmi Riti” group consists of five musicians: Inese Kozuliņa (voice and kokle); Mārtiņš Miļevskis (voice; keys, percussion); Alisa Klimanska (flutes, voice); Ivars Štubis (guitar, voice), Kalvis Vītols (voice, bagpipes, ukulele, percussion). The music of “Rāmi Riti” touches and soothes the soul, heals and creates an impulse in the listener to look inward, draw strength from their songs, the core of the Latvian way of life, and live in harmony with each other’s deepest essence and in harmony with everything around them.
