Fire Sculpture
Kristaps Krolls is one of Latvia’s leading fire sculpture artists — a creator who weaves fire, form and ceremony into a single magical experience.
At Būtība 2026 Kristaps appears in two roles:
🔥 Fire Sculpture — Kristaps is the creator of this year’s festival fire sculpture, which will be ceremonially burned on the evening of June 23rd. This is one of Būtība’s most powerful collective moments — a ritual in which fire becomes a bridge between the visible and invisible worlds.
🥁 Percussion — Kristaps joins Rishi’s TranceDance journey as percussionist, deepening the connection between rhythm and body.
