Heart – infinite space – spirit. These are three of the main aspects that describe Shakya’s music. With various instruments such as violoncello, guitar, dilruba, hang, keyboard and his voice, he creates sounds, melodies and spontaneous songs out of the moment. He loves to improvise with other musicians for people in rituals, in meditation, for dancing or in spaces of healing and touch. He inweaves a wide range of styles, from classical and jazz to world and pop, ambient and techno. With his music, he seduces people to be fully present in the moment, to come into their heart, to strengthen the “yes” to feelings and aliveness, and to sense and celebrate their own light.
Shakya organises solo performances, band concerts and mantra circles, performs with many musicians, produces CDs and accompanies and supports other musicians for their releases in his recording studio. Her offers workshops for voice healing, meditation, community building and more. He lives in the community Schloss Glarisegg at Lake Constance in Switzerland.
